April Adventures

This past weekend one of my very best friends got married.
So naturally we went up to Idaho for her reception.
I got to spend the entire day with David and my good friend from home, Ty.
I also got to see Victoria and her husband Jordan.
Although for some reason I didn't get a picture. :(

We decided to drive back on the same day we went up.
When we got to Ogden, it started to snow pretty bad.
So, I called up my Grandma at midnight and asked if we could stay with her for the night, since we were close to her house.
She said yes, and we made our way over there.
The unfortunate part of this seemingly wonderful plan is that we didn't have anything with us for a sleepover...
So, I slept in my Grandmother's nightgown (no picture of that one either....ha) and the boys had to sleep in their church clothes.

The next day I got to spend some time with my grandparents.
Then my cousins came over and we had a great time chatting and playing games.
So, while the detour wasn't initially part of the plan, it turned out to be pretty darn fun.

i love the park.

you would think that by this point in my life i would have outgrown my love of the park.
but i simply haven't.
i love the swings.
i love the pavilions.
i love being outside in the grass when it's warm.
it's just an overall good experience.
last sunday we celebrated tyler's birthday at the park.
it was the perfect day.
and i was with some of the coolest people.

We got SOME of our revenge this way.
Sorry David. :)

Why yes, of course I did.
In fact, I could reasonably say that I loved it!

2 finals, 2 friends, no more class

Yesterday was the last day of classes.
That was pretty cool, except that now it means we are cramming our brains full of all those things that we should have learned months ago in order to pass finals. Or that's what we should be doing.
I took two of my finals yesterday. Ballet and guitar. I think I did fairly well on them both. They were far from the most difficult ones that I'll have to take.

Yesterday I also go to see some really awesome friends.
Hunter is in town. He goes to BYU-I and was visiting before going home. And Rika lives in Provo.

April Fools Day...

So, this April Fools Day this is the surprise that we were granted with.

Our wonderful friends, Tony and Grayson, rearranged our furniture.
Needless to say, when I walked into the apartment I was quite confused.
I think it did a lot for the place though.
It's always good to spice things up every now and then.

Oh the colors...

This past weekend was the Holi Festival of Colors.
In Spanish Fork Utah.
So, naturally, it was a time for tons of college students to come and celebrate.
And experience some culture.
There were TONS of people there.
As you can see.

This is me in front of the Hare Krishna Temple.
Which was way beautiful.

And this is me and Elisabeth after the color throwing.
We were a MESS.
But it was fantastic.

and today definitely felt like spring.
also, we now only have 3 more weeks of classes.

what have i been doing to celebrate the coming of freedom?
well, first i dyed my hair blue.
and cut my bangs.

then i went to leanne's wedding reception.

on friday, we did baptisms in the salt lake temple.
that was a really fantastic experience.

and yesterday we went to the park.
i learned that i'm really terrible at bocce ball

Dancing and good friends...

...are two of my FAVORITE things.

This weekend I got to spend some quality time with Rika and Victoria.
Which is awesome, because Victoria lives in Idaho.
And is married.
So I don't get to see her much.
And I just haven't seen Rika a lot.
Which is sad, because she lives close.

For club style, we performed at the Motown dance.
To Michael Jackson.
This is me and Julia before we left.
And we performed WONDERFULLY, in case you were wondering.

Our Fort

Last night, Elisabeth, Julia, and I decided that we wanted to have a sleepover.
In the living room.
So we built a fort.
Out of sheets and clothespins.
And we put our mattresses on the floor.
And then watched Pearl Harbor and fell asleep.
Strangely, I haven't had such a good nights sleep in a long time.

A beautiful ballet and a car

This weekend, at least so far, has been FANTASTIC.

Friday night.
Me & Julia went and saw Ballet West perform Swan Lake.
It was beautiful!

Saturday.
Me and my grandpa went car shopping.
And I bought a car.
I love it.

And today is Valentines Day!!
I hope ya'll have a good one!

And tomorrow.
No school.
I'll just have to wait to see what's in store.

Christmas Break 2009-2010

Christmas break was way sweet this year. I got to see most of my best friends AND, of course, I spent tons of time with mi familia. And the wonderful Tennessee winter weather was present. None of these feet of snow and constantly freezing temperatures. And the grass was still green. Wonderful. Miss it. Don't miss it. It's complicated.

Me and my BEAUTIFUL little sister on New Years Eve. Are we not just the cutest siblings?

Me and my mama. She's not a big fan of getting her picture taken...but I made her at least once.

Santa brought this really sweet basketball game. Of course my brothers LOVE it. Heck, I love it.

We did some pretty sweet 4-Wheeling. Me and Becky got COVERED in mud. It was fantastic.

Also this break we celebrated my dad's birthday and my brother's birthday. I scrapbooked. Not too much, because I didn't have time. I did a lot of nothing. Which was, obviously, one of the greatest parts of the semester.

Fall Semester 2009....

So, I'm definitely WAY behind on blogging. Oops :/ But no worries, this semester will be much better, seeing as I got a BRAND NEW camera for Christmas (which I love, by the way). But, for now I will just highlight a few (a VERY few, I might add), of my favorite parts of this last semester.

Club Style (the hip hop club). We performed in the Homecoming Parade.

We went to General Conference. GREAT day.

BYU beat Utah.
Heck yes.

Awesome roomies.
