I have PLENTY of things to do: two papers and a project due before Thanksgiving Break.
Not to mention the paper and two presentations after the break.
Oh, and then finals.
But today was one of those days when I didn't want to do anything.
At all.
Just sit back, relax, read a book or watch a movie, and drink a mug of delicious hot cocoa.
Not that I did any of that either.
Instead, I spent my evening grading papers and staring blankly at my computer screen, trying to come up with something intelligent for the paper I'm supposed to be writing.
Unfortunately, blankness remained with me, at least in regards to sea turtle population dynamics.
So, searching for any type of inspiration, I decided to check out Pinterest.
Surprising, right?
I have officially started a bucket list, complete with all the amazing places that I want to go before I die.
And don't worry, sea turtles do have their place in all this.
Tortugureo, Costa Rica has a special place on this list (if you don't know how this relates to sea turtles, look here.)
See, my project didn't completely fall to the wayside.
Other places on my bucket list (that are at least partly realistic right now) include Havasupi, Glacier Bay, and the Everglades.

As Aldo Leopold says in A Sand County Almanac, “Our ability to perceive quality in nature begins, as in art, with the
pretty. It expands through successive stages of the beautiful to values
as yet uncaptured by language.”
I think everyone should experience nature at it's finest.
