Herpetology...

Is probably my favorite class this semester.  Why?  Well, I'll just have to show you:

Yes, it is a real snake.  And a gorgeous one at that.

This is a smart little guy...

This lizard is like Joanna (from Rescuers Down Under...if you know the movie!)

There was also a reticulated python, but I didn't get a good picture because she seemed to be shy that day.  But she had a beautiful yellow pattern and was about 12-13 feet long.  Bummer that you didn't get to see.

There were also a lot of other lizards, but I didn't take pictures of all of them.

In my lab this last Tuesday, we had a guy that breeds all these fellows come in and bring some with him.  We got to play with them all and it was super fun.

I pretty much felt like I was 5 years old again.

One day, I'll get to do that everyday....
